EMBRACING OUR TRUE SELVES
For centuries society has consistently/systematically attempted to train men of color to believe to believe we should be ashamed of ourselves, and unfortunately to a larger extent than many of us are willing to admit we’ve accepted their portrayal of us.
With that said, the time has come for us to finally find the courage to look deeply within ourselves and see ourselves for who we truly are beyond how the world wants us to see ourselves.
When we finally see past these shallow disguises we’ve been socially forced to wear for centuries it is then we’ll finally realize we were born destined to GLOW
